Product Overview

Melanotan-II (or known as MT-II) was initially developed as a synthetic tanning agent. Is a cyclic peptide with high affinity for melanocortin receptors MC1R, MC3R, and MC4R, particularly the latter. Its strong binding to MC4R makes it "superpotent" compared to natural peptides like α-MSH. MT-II induces erections through central mechanisms rather than peripheral effects, acting on both forebrain and spinal pathways, which are then mediated peripherally by nitric oxide pathways.
