The BPC 157 peptide is a man made compound consisting of 15 acids that are sourced from stomach proteins. Identified in 1992 by Croatian researcher Predrag Sikiric, it has gained recognition for its tissue healing capabilities, particularly for muscles, tendons and bones. Research shows that main role is in speeding up the healing of tissues while aiding in the development of blood vessels and decreasing inflammation. While showing success in trials far it has not yet received approval for medical use and is primarily marketed for research objectives.
