Methyl-1-Testosterone is an oral anabolic steroid, known as methyldihydroboldenone. It is derived from 1-testosterone (dihydroboldenone) and has a 17-alpha methyl group, allowing it to be taken orally. Originally described in 1962 during a peak in steroid research, it was brought back to the market in 2003 as a dietary supplement. It attracted attention because it can effectively improve muscle mass and strength. Despite its popularity, Methyl-1-Testosterone was banned in 2005 due to regulatory concerns and its potential side effects. It was mainly utilized as a bulking ingredient; however individuals sometimes noticed some water or fat retention effects.
