Syntex produced Methyldrostanolone in 1959. It was never brought to market as a prescription medication. It has a very similar structure to Drostanolone (Masteron) and includes a c17 alpha methyl group that boosts its ability to be taken orally. In the early 2000s this steroid appeared in "grey market" under the name Superdrol. It doesn't change into estrogen which makes it an ideal option, for athletes and bodybuilders when they're cutting. However it is also known to be very hepatotoxic and can cause liver strain during use.
