Methyldrostanolone

Methyldrostanolone (Superdrol) well known by bodybuilders as a strong anabolic steroid. First developed by Syntex in 1959. Unlike many other steroids was never commercialized as a prescription drug. It gained popularity in the 2000s as a "grey market" drug. Its non aromatizing nature prevents estrogenic effects like water retention, making it a favorite for cutting phases. However, its c-17 alpha alkylation, while enabling oral administration, also increases its risk of liver toxicity.
