Trenbolone enanthate first entered circulation through the underground lab British Dragon in 2004 under the name Trenabol. Unlike acetate, developed by Roussel-UCLAF in 1967 for veterinary applications, the enanthate ester was never part of a licensed medical product. It was engineered for nonmedical users who desired longer-lasting anabolic effects with less frequent injections. The black market embraced the ester quickly, solidifying its place among the most used underground steroids by the mid-2000s.
