Product Overview
The peptide BPC-157 was introduced in 1992 through work led by Dr. Predrag Sikiric in Croatia. Originating from a section of a gastric protein, it was studied for its tissue-healing effects. Pliva, a Croatian pharmaceutical company, backed the early work until 2005 when it exited the project. Merck later showed interest in the peptide’s intellectual rights, but no acquisition followed. Today, BPC-157 is mainly distributed as a research chemical, particularly by Diagen of Slovenia.
