Is is also effectively reduces food intake and helps people lose weight consistently in both animals and humans. In addition to curbing hunger pangs tesofensine also boosts energy expenditure in those on high fat diets. Its main target is the GABAergic neurons which can be found in the hypothalamus, this potentially lead to changes, in eating habits and provide perspectives on treating obesity.
