Stanozolol was developed by Winthrop Laboratories in 1959 and approved by the FDA for treating anemia and hereditary angioedema. Though originally used for clinical conditions, it gained popularity in athletics for enhancing strength and muscle hardness without significant water retention. It strongly suppresses natural testosterone production, making PCT necessary after use. Today, Stanozolol is mostly found in underground markets as both oral tablets and injectable suspensions.
