Though trenbolone esters date back to 1967, when Roussel-UCLAF introduced trenbolone acetate for livestock growth, the enanthate variant was never released by any pharmaceutical firm. In 2004, the underground lab British Dragon created trenbolone enanthate and marketed it as Trenabol. The goal was to extend hormone activity between injections for nonmedical use. It gained favor among athletes and bodybuilders for delivering potent anabolic effects with added convenience, despite lacking any official recognition.
