Testosterone Propionate was introduced by Schering AG in 1937 under the brand name Testoviron. It was one of the firstamong the testosterone esters created with the intention of delaying the release of testosterone. Though newer esters like enanthate and cypionate have largely replaced it, Propionate remains widely used, particularly in athletic circles. It's rapid effectiveness is highly-rated by bodybuilders looking for muscle growth or maintaining mass during cutting phases.
